CACAO PROTEIN BALLS

*please note: I am no chef, it is all for fun—take it with a pinch of salt <3

Sweet treats i made for my friends alex, ellie and jacinthe's birthdays <3


1/3C almond flour

3/4C oat flour

1 serve protein powder (I used vanilla, but you could use chocolate to make this extra chocolate-y)

3/4C peanut butter (runny)

1/3C maple syrup (real)

2tbsp cacao powder

1/4tsp sea salt

1tbsp unsweetened almond milk


white chocolate

milk chocolate

protein crispies

sea salt [optional garnish]


  1. mix:

    1/3C almond flour

    3/4C oat flour

    1 serve protein powder (I used vanilla, but you could use chocolate to make this extra chocolate-y)

    3/4C peanut butter (runny)

    1/3C maple syrup (real)

    2tbsp cacao powder

    1/4tsp salt

    1tbsp unsweetened almond milk

    *I started mixing with spatula and then used gloved (I had trinket nails) hand to mix it thoroughly

  2. divide into desired sized balls (I rolled 18)

  3. melt white chocolate

    & add protein crispies

    & coat balls in white choc/protein crispies mix and place on baking lined plate/tray

  4. melt milk chocolate

    & coat balls in milk choc and place on baking lined plate/tray

    & add sea salt on top

  5. chill in fridge until set
